The Arts Fund for Region One announces the availability of scholarship funds for the summer of 2008. This opportunity is open to all students in Region One who wish to explore and develop their interests in the arts. This funding is available through the Susan Fillman Memorial Scholarship for the Arts as administered by The Arts Fund for Region One. *Please note: The Arts Fund does NOT sponsor classes for students; instead, it provides funding for students to take Arts related classes. It is up to families to seek out the programs in which their child might be interested.

The application form for this scholarship (3 pages) and support materials may be found by clicking on the links below. The Scholarship Committee will entertain applications for individual classes and group programs. Monies distributed will be based on need, cost of the program, recommendations, and available funds. This year's application deadline is May 2, 2008. Applications must be postmarked by federal mail by this date to be considered.
